Terms of Service

Effective date: 1 September 2026

Version: 1.0

These Terms govern accounts, designs, rendering, public sharing, and paid subscriptions on BrickInView. Please read them before creating an account or purchasing a plan.

1. Service provider

BrickInView is provided by the following operator:

Legal name or entity
Raúl García
Trading name
BrickInView
Business address
Concha Espina 15, Sevilla, Spain
Tax identification
28840145P
Contact email
contact@support.brickinview.com

2. When these Terms apply

You must agree to these Terms to create an account. The version and UTC time of acceptance may be recorded. If you use BrickInView for an organisation, you confirm that you may bind it to these Terms.

People may view publicly available content without an account. Any use of BrickInView remains subject to the provisions that apply by their nature, including acceptable-use and intellectual-property rules.

The Privacy Policy explains how personal data is processed. It is a notice, not a contract that you accept as the legal basis for every processing activity.

3. Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 18 years old to create or use a BrickInView account. Public content that does not require an account is not subject to an age gate.

Provide accurate information, keep your credentials secure, and tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access. You are responsible for activity carried out through your account unless applicable law provides otherwise.

4. The service

BrickInView lets users upload supported brick-model files, process them into interactive designs, choose visibility, and create images and videos. Features and plan limits are shown in the service and may evolve.

Processing may involve automated conversion, rendering, storage, and specialist workers. Larger or invalid files may be rejected, and processing times vary with model complexity and service demand.

Plans may limit upload attempts, part counts, video duration, shots, credits, branding, or other features. Paid plans described as having unlimited uploads remain subject to reasonable safeguards against abuse, automation, or excessive infrastructure use.

5. Uploads and processing

BrickInView currently accepts supported LDraw (.ldr) and BrickLink Studio (.io) inputs. You must keep your own source-file backups and ensure your files are safe and lawful.

Uploaded source and normalised processing files are ordinarily removed four days after processing reaches a terminal state. The resulting design and generated assets are retained according to your account, deletion choices, and plan rules described below.

We try not to charge usage for failures caused by the platform. Files that clearly exceed published limits or otherwise constitute a valid upload attempt may count where the applicable plan description says so.

6. Your content and the licence to BrickInView

You retain ownership of your User Content and any intellectual-property rights you already hold. User Content includes uploaded models, titles, descriptions, profile material, branding, and other material you provide.

You grant BrickInView a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence, for as long as needed to provide the service, to host, copy, process, convert, render, transmit, secure, and display User Content according to your instructions and selected visibility. This licence also permits technically necessary backups and troubleshooting. It ends when the content is deleted, subject to reasonable technical deletion time, backups, legal retention duties.

This licence does not permit us to use User Content to train AI models or build research datasets, or to use public designs in advertising, external social-media promotion, or other off-platform marketing without separate permission from the creator.

You confirm that you have the rights and permissions needed to upload and process User Content and to choose its visibility. Do not upload personal, confidential, illegal, or third-party material unless you are authorised to do so.

7. Visibility and sharing

  • Public: discoverable through normal BrickInView profiles, listings, galleries, and direct links.
  • Unlisted: available to anyone with the link but not intended for normal public discovery.
  • Password protected: available through the protected access flow to people who know the password. This reduces casual access but is not a substitute for secure storage of confidential material.
  • Private: intended to be available only to the account owner through authenticated service features.

Changing visibility affects future access. Search engines, recipients, browser caches, or third parties may retain copies of material that was previously public or shared.

8. Generated images and videos

You may download and use outputs generated through BrickInView, including commercially, to the extent you have the necessary rights. BrickInView does not transfer ownership of LEGO, model designs, source content, fonts, music, software, or other third-party rights and cannot guarantee that an output is free of third-party claims.

Where a plan uses rendering credits, the current plan description explains the charge. Credits are reserved during processing and are consumed when the render succeeds; failed platform renders release their reservation.

9. Acceptable use

You must not use BrickInView to:

  • create, upload, share, or promote illegal content or illegal activity;
  • infringe intellectual-property, privacy, publicity, confidentiality, or other rights;
  • probe, disrupt, bypass, or compromise security, access controls, usage limits, or another user's account;
  • scrape, automate, overload, resell, or misuse the service in a way that harms BrickInView, its providers, or other users; or
  • impersonate others, deceive recipients, distribute malware, or publish hateful, threatening, exploitative, or otherwise seriously harmful material.

10. Third-party names, libraries, data, and services

BrickInView is an independent service and is not sponsored, authorised, or endorsed by the LEGO Group. LEGO is a trademark of the LEGO Group. Your use of LEGO-related designs remains subject to applicable third-party rights.

BrickInView uses the LDraw ecosystem to interpret brick-model data. LDraw software and the LDraw Parts Library are supplied under their respective third-party terms; Parts Library attribution is provided in the site footer. Their inclusion does not transfer those third-party rights to you.

BrickInView may use the Rebrickable API and image service to obtain part metadata and images. Rebrickable is an independent provider; its data may be incomplete, unavailable, or subject to its own terms and rights.

The service also depends on third-party hosting, payment, security, email, and rendering technology. Third-party sites and services are governed by their own terms. A full inventory of ordinary software dependencies is not part of these Terms.

11. Reporting illegal or infringing content

Send notices in English or Spanish to contact@support.brickinview.com with the subject “Content report”. The same address may be used for copyright and other intellectual-property reports.

A sufficiently precise and adequately substantiated notice should include:

  • the exact URL, design identifier, account name, or other information that lets us locate the item;
  • a clear explanation of why you believe the content is illegal or infringes rights, including the relevant law or right where possible;
  • supporting evidence and, for a rights claim, an explanation of your ownership or authority to act;
  • your name and email address, except where applicable law permits or requires a notice without those details; and
  • a statement that you genuinely believe the information and allegations in the notice are accurate and complete.

We may request clarification, preserve relevant evidence, restrict access, remove content, suspend features, or take no action after assessment. If you provide an electronic contact address, we will acknowledge receipt without undue delay and communicate the relevant decision and available reasons by email, subject to legal, security, and confidentiality limits.

Affected users may request reconsideration at contact@support.brickinview.com. This manual email route does not limit any mandatory complaint, court, regulator, or certified out-of-court dispute-settlement rights that apply. Reports must not be knowingly false, abusive, or misleading.

12. Paid subscriptions, cancellation, and withdrawal

Creator and Pro are recurring monthly subscriptions. The price, billing interval, plan features, and applicable taxes are displayed before purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled.

You can cancel normal renewal through BrickInView's existing Stripe billing-management flow. Cancellation usually takes effect at the end of the paid billing period, and paid features continue until then unless the checkout or mandatory law states otherwise.

Monthly paid-plan credits refresh each paid billing month and unused credits do not roll over. Free-plan credits are lifetime credits and do not refresh.

If EU or other mandatory consumer withdrawal rights apply, you may send a withdrawal request to contact@support.brickinview.com. At checkout we ask you to expressly request that the paid service begin immediately during the withdrawal period. If you withdraw after performance has begun, you may owe a proportionate amount where applicable law permits; a withdrawal right is lost only where the legal requirements for full performance and informed express consent are met.

We do not offer an additional voluntary refund entitlement. This does not affect statutory remedies, withdrawal rights, conformity guarantees, or other mandatory consumer rights. We may issue discretionary goodwill refunds without creating a continuing entitlement.

Prices and any taxes or tax-inclusive treatment applicable to your purchase will be shown in the purchase flow. You are responsible for accurate billing and location information.

13. Downgrades and plan limits

After a paid plan ends or is downgraded, designs and features outside the new limits may be archived or locked. On Free, up to two eligible designs remain active and you may switch which eligible retained designs are active.

Archived designs are currently retained for at least 180 days after downgrade so that they can be restored by upgrading. After that period, excess designs and associated generated assets may be permanently deleted.

14. Deletion and account closure

You can delete designs and generated images or videos using available controls. Deletion is intended to remove the relevant service records and stored assets, subject to reasonable processing time, backups, legal duties, and technical exceptions.

You may delete your account through the service. Account deletion cancels an active subscription immediately and starts deletion of associated data. Any provider-calculated credit or refund does not create a broader contractual refund entitlement. Download anything you need first because deletion is intended to be irreversible.

15. Availability and changes

We aim to provide a reliable service but do not promise uninterrupted or error-free access. Maintenance, security incidents, provider failures, rendering capacity, and events outside our control may affect availability.

We may improve, replace, restrict, or discontinue features. If a material change adversely affects an active paid subscription, we will provide any notice or remedy required by applicable law.

16. Responsibility and liability

You are responsible for your User Content, instructions, visibility choices, and use of outputs. To the extent allowed by law, BrickInView is not responsible for unauthorised third-party copies of content you made public or shared, or for third-party data, services, and rights outside our control.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability or consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including liability for fraud, wilful misconduct, or death or personal injury where applicable. Any other limitation will apply only to the maximum extent permitted by law.

17. Moderation, suspension, and termination

We may restrict content, processing, sharing, purchases, or accounts when reasonably necessary to enforce these Terms, protect users or infrastructure, comply with law or provider requirements, respond to payment issues, or investigate misuse.

Where legally required and appropriate, we will provide affected users with reasons and information about available reconsideration routes. Urgent, security-sensitive, confidential, or legally restricted cases may limit advance notice or detail.

18. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as the service or law changes. We will identify the current version and effective date and provide reasonable advance notice of material changes where required. We may ask account holders to accept a new version before continuing to use affected features.

19. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by Spanish law. If you are a consumer, Spanish law applies in accordance with your mandatory consumer rights and does not deprive you of mandatory protections or competent courts available under the law of your country of residence. Contact contact@support.brickinview.com first if you would like us to try to resolve a dispute informally.

20. Contact

Questions about these Terms, billing, withdrawal, content reports, or legal matters may be sent in English or Spanish to contact@support.brickinview.com or by post to Concha Espina 15, Sevilla, Spain.
